Virtuascape recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of the Virtuascape website and our related subscriber mailing lists. The creation of the following privacy policy guidelines grow from our fundamental respect for our users' right to privacy and will serve to guide our relationships with our users and subscribers.
Virtuascape collects information about users during their registration for our subscription lists, shopping and their participation in certain activities on our Web sites, and through the use of cookies.
When users request pages from our server, our Web server automatically collects some information about the users, including their IP addresses. These IP addresses are used by computers to send the requested pages to users.
Subscription List E-Mail, Mail and/or Newsletter
If a user wishes to subscribe to our mailing list and/or newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name, email and mailing address.
Use of Information
Virtuascape will not reveal any personal information that users provide to us to any third party. Virtuascape uses visitors' IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site. We also use it to gather broad demographic information about our users in general. This information does not contain anything that can identify users personally.
We may combine demographic information supplied by a subscriber at registration with site usage data to provide profiles, in aggregate form, about our users and their preferences in the content of the site and advertising.
Using e-mail and mailing addresses provided at registration or otherwise, Virtuascape periodically sends out e-mail and mail to our subscribers about services and products offered by Virtuascape and our partners.
Third parties will not contact our subscribers through the use of our e-mail and mailing lists except through message from our partners within the email and/or mail themselves, or unless users ask to be placed on a list to receive e-mail and/or mail from our partners on subjects of interest.
Upon request, Virtuascape will remove users (and their information) from our database or permit them to "opt-out" of any further e-mail or contact.
Virtuascape are not responsible for the content or the privacy polices of Web sites to which it may provide links or the Web sites of its advertisers.
Virtuascape uses reasonable precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us secure and to disclose such information only to responsible third parties after permission from the user.
Notification of Changes,
if we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on the Virtuascape website so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
